head light harness

The headlight harness is a large one-piece assembly that starts at the headlight switch at the end of the steering column and goes out like an octopus to all parts of the car, front and back. You buy a new one as an assembly.

You open up the headlight switch and remove the old one. Use that as a guide on how to put in the new one.

Read the instructions on grinding the thickness of the black disk down so that it will actually work.

HTH.

When you get that bulb off at the bottom of the column, be prepared for some cleaning-inside & out. The steering box is filled with 600 weight, & leaks into the socket, creating a big oily mess. You will end up cutting the old wire away from the bulb, then just pull the new wire harness through ,the same way you took the old out. new frame clips help make a neat install too
