Head gaskets AGAIN

I am installing new hg and see some have 3 large ports in the rear and some have only 2. My block and head indicate they should have the 3 but the kits only have the 2, [felpro]
All this for my 53 stock 239 car. Asked my dealer and he said to put a hole in it for the third port. Some how, this just don't seam correct.

Usually, head gaskets are made to an established pattern... Felpro is a top brand, probably not given to reinventing flathead head gaskets. Some block features are due to casting requirements.

Compare the old gaskets to the new.

Put up a picture- I've got a couple of gaskets to compare.

There was a change in the HG's in that area a long time ago. Too much water was going to the lower part of the block so the holes for the lower part of the head (towards exhaust ports) were reduced to about 1/4"-5/16". Pic below shows old on top, new below. Is there no hole at all at the bottom of yours?

Both my old and new are the same as the bottom picture. The head and block would match the top picture
