Head gasket

Is there any difference in the head gasket for a stock Model A head and the "B" Police Model A head? I have been told that it is different in the area of the valves. However, I don't see a "B" Police head gasket being sold by anyone. Thanks......

I use a B gasket since it follows the combustion chamber shape better. I have an A engine with a police head.

The block is flat so either gasket will seat on it. It is the head that the gasket must match.

The 7014 made by Fel-Pro follows pretty close (if they still make 'em).

BUT, it's not copper-clad and may be stuck like glue when or if it comes time to remove it, just like any of the composition type gaskets.
