Head gasket

Hi again, I understand now that there are two designs of head gaskets for 59 A engine. One with big holes and one with small ones. I was not aware of this,
Is this something to do with improved cooling? Can I use the one with the big holes or is it going to overheat? Thanks.

The one with the small holes is preferred. The one with the larger holes will probably work just fine.
