Head gasket question

Having second thoughts about clearances and pulled aluminum heads I had torqued to 60lbs.; I have not fired the engine can I reuse the graphite head gaskets; I installed them dry?

Best Gasket co. recomendes spraying there Graftite gasket with Copper Coat or Hi Tack gasket spray. If the gaskets look good I'd spray them down and resue them. Walt
 
It has been my experience, with the Best gaskets, that they compress during more cycles than other gaskets. I would torque to 50 lbs. but be certain to re-check several times during the heat and cool cycles. In one case I found they could be re-torqued 3 times without any heat cycle but just an overnight rest period.
