Head Gasket Install

Funny, I took my 6:1 Snyders head to the NAPA machine shop and he said it was really flat and didn't need machining.

Let me guess; They said "It's only a Model A"

If you looked at the pictures I posted the blue dye shows the head being warped after removing .004" and then finally cleaning up at .007" too much for a model A to handle along with the poor surface finish out of the box.

I must have been lucky, it has been fine since 2020. The shop seems to have pretty high standards, so it was likely flat enough.
