Head bolt tightining sequence 21 stud

Getting ready to put the Ford Aluminum heads on my 21 stud motor in my pick up and need the tightening sequence.

Also not sure on the final torque either.

I searched and found it for the 4 banger but not the v 8 and also wondered if there is a difference for cast iron and stock ford aluminum heads.

As for the torque itself there are several threads to that affect. I have seen 40 to 50 ft-lbs in various threads for aluminum heads so I used 45.

Start in the center and work around the clock. simple all head tightening is that way from "T" to Honda's. ken ct.

motors manual says 35 to 40# on aluminum heads i go #10 tighter and retorque often the first couple hundred miles
