Have rear shocks

I'm using rotary shocks on the front of my '31 Fordor. Work good plus they're adjustable for firmer or softer ride.

Yes it had the largely ineffective houdaille round shocks with shock arms. You can buy modern airplane shocks and brackets however.
I'm surprised that you are not aware of the excellent reputation enjoyed by Houdalie shocks, and knee action shocks in general. Adjustable, rebuildable, and reliable, while airplane shocks are disposable after a comparatively short usable life.
