I have taken the rear end and transmission out of my sedan for an overdrive, and decided to check the transmission and clutch also. I have seen many examples with six springs in the center like the disc on the right, but I have not seen one with 8 smaller springs in the center like the disc on the left. Both disc's have a flange "capturing" the spring to prevent it from coming out but the one on the right seems more robust in the center so I think I'll use that one. Both clutch discs have lots of material remaining.
