handbrake help

Almost done with a 1937 Tudor Sedan. I need help installing the handbrake. I am using the under the dash handle. I have the cable that goes on the handle. At the other end of the cable is this elongated part. I have cables from the rear drums up to a plate that holds the cables. I also have another cable that has a threaded end, but also has that elongated part. Do I have the wrong cables? Thanks

Tell us what kind of brakes you have, original cable or hydraulic. Originally, the hand brake cable was attached to the brake cross shaft and activated all four wheel brakes on the 37/38 cars.

It's always a guessing game to answer questions about mix-and-match from different vehicles. So many ways to skin a cat.
