Hand brake pawl search

I am trying to find a pawl for my hand brake. Tooth is worn off. Car is a '37, but I do not think the lever is original. Any suggestions where I could find a replacement?
Thank you,
David

Mac's shows a pawl for a 32 -37 but the picture looks different than yours there part # is A2786D. The green bible indicates two choices 78-2786 and B-2786. If it were mine I would consider welding it, grinding it close and finishing it with a file. You could try Dick Spadaro, Dennis Carpenter NOS Parts, Little Dearborn in Saint Paul, JobLot, Midwest early ford.

I would weld and form the pawl, I used step bolts & self lockers in place of the rivets from McMaster Carr. Zeke

Take Zeke's advice, it will pay off in the end with improving your skills and the satisfaction of repairing something yourself as they had to do in the old days. Good luck

If I could buy it off the shelf, I would, but a weld fix sounds good. Thanks for list of suppliers and step bolt suggestion. I'll get it fixed!

I welded mine (33) up with a hard facing rod then used the angle grinder to trim it up.works good.
