Hand Brake Lever Spring Accessory?

Hey guys, in both Mac's and Lang's catalogs they sell an accessory hand brake lever spring (item# T3463RE) and it looks simpler than the old riveted spring.

Has anyone tried it? And more importantly, how the heck does it fit up? Pic would be great.

Jim,

I have one on the touring.
I like it.
Still have the regular original spring this one just makes the pawl really engage.

It has a hooked end that goes over where the brake rod connects (the one on the handle not the ones to the rear end) to the pawl at the bottom and the other end opens up and goes around the brake rod shaft.

It takes about 2 minutes to put on and works really well.

No worries about the brake lever moving with that spring!
