Halogen Headlight bulbs

Has anyone tried the 60W/55W Halogen headlight bulbs from Little British Car Co.? They appear to be a direct fit into original headlight buckets but probably require 60Amp alternator? If they are anything like the ones suited to my '36 coupe, they will put out as much light as a modern car with sealed beams! I'm curious about their longevity and safety with original wiring. they are quite spendy. Thanks!

i have heard very good things about them, you do need a high output generator like a NU REX and have heard that work great. Good Luck

I have been using them for years. You do NOT need anything more than your stock generator, that is needed for the high-draw halogen and reflector kit that the vendors sold for years.Mine draw about 2 amps more than the stock bulbs did.
