i have a 40 merc sedan 4dr. painted dark blue. the info. an time line i have is very dis jointed. i came by the car 1999 from a school mate, he got it in ?. he got it from a widow lady that moved to our area ( grass valley) from pengrove. very near you. the car has every acess. for merc. that i know dual spots. running lights.grill guard. 6 blade fan an best of all columbia rear end. the next bit of info. came from a man who came to me one day, an said he new the car when he lived in petaluma. it was owned by a man that owned a bar in town for years. he said he loved that merc. an drove it ever day. the man who told me this was named frank. an he was in the car an motorcycle groups in sante rosea petaluma area. for years frank lived out of grass valley an seldom came to town, when he did he would drive a 28 ford p.u. or 40 merc. coupe. an a vintage cycle. he said of hand one day the owner had the engine o.h. by tardel or bishop he thought. frank has not ben seen in town for a year. the last i saw him he was not well. he was a story teller. if you knew the car or frank i would like to hear from you an any other barners in that area. i think brendon lives in that area. reguards didk.t.
