Growling noise

I have an early 30 AA with high speed rearend. When traveling down the road it will make a growling noise at 34 mph. The noise is gone at 35 Mph. It sounds like it may be coming from the transmission area, but it's hard to tell. Any ideas where I should start my search for the cause?

Thanks
Gary

I had a similar noise on my 31 AA, turned out to be a loose rad support rod. It picked up a harmonic vibration in the basement of third gear that went away very quickly. These cabs telegraph sound all over the place and I swore it was the U-joint going south. I was debating pulling the rear end and diving into it but I knew that U-joint was a solid unit and was hesitant to do it. It was easy to ignore it as it went away so fast. Then a while ago I had a coil go bad and while changing that out found I'd lost a rivet on the rad support clip. popped in a bolt for now, but the noise is no longer an issue now.
