Does anybody make a delete for the bullet on a stock 53 grill?

I sincerely hope not. The '53 grille is the most beautiful grille of the era.

They used to be a common item (JC Whitney, etc.) If you look, hard enough, you might be able to find one. If you do find one, install it and enjoy it for about 6 months, when it will start to rust.

I respect everyone's opinion and thank you for it. I thought it might look good and make it a little different and not look like every other one going down the road. It can always be changed back. Thanks again.

Don't get me wrong, I kind of like the look, especially on a car that's been "nosed and decked". It's "clean" looking. I'm just sayin' that if you do find one (they are out there), and you like the look, just expect to have to replate it sooner or later.
