Grill parts

Hi all,
New to the Ford Barn and will admit I know nothing about old Ford trucks.
We are in the process of restoring a 1940 Ford fire truck, It is a 1 1/2 or 2 ton truck, not a pickup.
We are looking for the chrome grill pieces and the hood release lever, they got damaged years ago and I do not feel they could be repaired. I have seen the parts listed on a few web sites but listed as half ton pickup and the customer service said they could not guarantee fitment, any idea if they would be the same?
I could maybe post a picture if I can figure out how?
Any help would be appreciated

Piston,
This truck is in MN, It runs well and we have done the brakes, wheel cylinders, wheel seals and some minor engine work along with new exhaust.
Now its time to get the cosmetic work done.

Make four more posts and you could send PM's. I'm sure we all would like to see more of the truck. I know I would, as the former owner of '48 Seagrave 1000GPM pumper.
