Whatever the case these guys are helping us keep our cars on the road. How many individuals could afford to even have an average part made by an outside source. If you can, go ahead and buy the N.O.S. radiator cap for a lot of coin, but let the other guy buy the semi well made reproduction cap for $25.00 its ok. I have been doing this for a long time and when I found original parts that I thought I could use down the road that I could buy cheap, I did. Remember there was no internet just junk yards and follow car guys. There were very few reproduction parts. 40 years ago a lot of the repro parts out there were very poorly made, but that is all we had to choose from if we couldn't find an original. If you think China is bad you should have seen the parts coming from Argentina !! I sure don't blame a guy for not being in the position that I was 40 years ago. And you gotta know we bought real nice deuce Grille shells for $100 to $150 bucks even in the late 70s. Thankfully there are these firms that are trying to provide a solution rather than let us sit around looking at our incomplete car and wait for someone to die so we can buy the parts from their estate. Come on guys!!!
