Again thanks to the great advise found on here you saved me alot of work and time. there was a thread about modern points and condensers about 2 weeks ago and it was mentioned several times that condenser failure can mimic carb problems. Anyway I was warming up my 30 coupe to test my newly rebuilt wiper motor from Bert's and it was running really well considering sitting for the winter. All of a sudden it started acting like it was running out of gas. I thought it was a plugged fuel line so I blew air back through it, everything was open. The carb was a new Zeinith so I changed it out with a spare and it did the same thing. I then tried plugging the vacuum line in case of a leak in the new wiper motor, no difference. Then I read the thread about the new style condensers which I had changed to last fall. It had maybe 100mi. on it. So I bought a heavy duty Acell one and put it in. Problem Solved! If I wouldn't have seen that thread I would never have believed a bad condenser would have caused those symptoms. I think I will convert back to original points and condenser. Anyway THANKS GUYS, you are the greatest.
