Grease gun question

So this would appear to solve the issue of having to use two guns? Because you could grease both types of fittings with this?

The more modern lock on zerk fittings have a ball & spring type valve built in that takes some pressure to push down and doesn't always play as well with the needle type gun fitting but some can be serviced better than others. The OEM model A fittings have no valve in them at all. The actual needle type grease fittings have a different type of valve that allows for sealing and passage of grease better.

It can work but it could be problematic. I just got used to changing gun fitting ends when I was servicing Hughes 269 types or Bell 47s since they had regular zerks and needle type fittings all over the various different components of the aircraft. My model A has all the original fittings. I just screw them on finger tight.
