For me, what a brilliant idea!! The Coupler replaces your regular coupler with one that 'locks-on' (quick disconnect) to the grease fitting so that both hands can be used to work the pump!!
Never knew it existed!!
 
I have both old and new style couplings on my ‘31. I got tired of crawling out from underneath the car to switch couplings, so I bought a second grease gun. The one for the modern fittings is one of the spring-loaded clamp on style like old31 has. Very pleased with it.
 
Club member just remined me that the coupler will only work on todays Zerk Grease Fittings. Since mine had been installed, it never occurred to me
