Grease Fitting thread size....

Which thread is used on the fitting to lube u-joint clamshell...
I want to make a remote grease line up to it ..I put a half tube of John Deere corn binder grease in there today ...I lost quite a bit of it because it was leaking around the fitting .....

Std 1/8 NPTF i would think....shouldn´t be anything odd there..
