Granada disc brake frustrations

Hi guys, looking for some advice. I have the Granada disc brake conversion. Close to 5000 miles ago I installed a new a booster, master cylinder, disc brakes on front, new rear wheel cylinders, all new brake lines with SS braided at all the flex lines. Nothing is pinched. I have no leaks. Pretty much since I installed them the front wheels lock up. For instance when I put in neutral and roll it will stop like in stepping lightly on he brake. Usually only when hot. After a while they free up. I bled the system 2 separate times with brand new fluid each time. I lubed the slides. I've remove the master from the booster to see if the rod was pressing but even detached in changes nothing. Any ideas? Thanks for reading

Make sure you have clearance in the rod the goes into the booster. 5/16-3/8 is good. When the brakes heat up, the fluid expands and if not enough clearance you can get what you are experiencing.

In my 54, I have the Granada brakes but no power (manual) so I don't know how critical the gap is between the power unit and the master cylinder.

Thanks for the response Paul. if the master cylinder is disconnected, the rod length wouldn't matter would it? On the booster to the MC is where the rod gets adjusted. I thought it might have been the brake pedal lever to the booster so that's why I disconnected the MC from the booster. I even popped the cover off the mc to see if that would relieve some pressure.

Sounds like the pistons aren't retracting completely in the calipers. Are they gummed up? Were the calipers new when you installed them? Correct disc brake pads?

Hey evintho, yes the calipers and pads were new. I changed pads from semi-metallic to organic thinking it might give it some give . I have less than 5,000 miles since I installed them
Hi orangedog my hard line's all run on the outer frame rail. And my soft lines are clear from heat sources. I have time to find the problem now LOL my rear end is dead and grinding. I sore stay 8.8 from a junkyard and I'm starting to clean it up to narrow it now.
