Nice row of machines!
I'm not so ready. Drove my 34 home from work yesterday in the 'sleet. Today is clear and 37 degrees so I'm going to hop in it and go do some shopping it looks like its going to be clear and in the 40s for another week or so. I'll keep the wheels turnin on the 34 Right up until the county spreads the salt then I'll wipe it down and stash it away.
That's a nice collection you've got, too bad you have to let them hibernate. Like Mike said, move to Florida. To get ready for winter I put the tops down. Vic
We've had our convertible (it's a flathead in line) 5 years ago but haven't had to put the top up yet. The little farm engines keep their water all winter.
Have a great Thanksgiving from Waxahachiek, Texas, bless your hearts.
Man, I cant imagine what it must be like to have to lay up for winter. We drive all year round here, never get snow, worst would be a few degrees of frost about 4 or 5 times.
The USA is a strange place from my perspective. In 2005 I was in OKC in January and the frost and cold was like something I've never, ever experienced before and never want to again. A week later I was in Anaheim and convertibles had their tops down and girls were wearing ... well, next to nothing.... At the same time, a friend who lives in Long Island had several feet of snow! Talk about contrasts.
I too cant imagine not being able to use our old fords any time, winter here is a 20 deg C day and 7 deg night and fine ,summer 35 deg c and 20 deg nights.
