Gosfast Gary from NY?

From what I know of him, he was a great example to try to follow. He helped me with advice and sent me small parts and wouldn't even accept postage. Prayers for comfort and peace for his family.
 
Damn. I almost wish I hadn't logged on this morning. As I posted earlier, he helped me out a couple of times. My condolences to his family.
 
Such sad news - being an old Long Island boy I believe we met up once or twice. Nice guy, not an in your face type of guy. My condolences to his family .....
 
Sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I also always enjoyed his input and guidance on this forum. Condolences and prayers for his family. May he rest in peace.
 
I'm sorry to hear about Gary's passing. Anyone who cared enough to bring new flathead products to market was an asset to our hobby. My condolences to his family and friends.
 
It is truly disturbing that it's getting to the point where you hesitate to answer the phone or turn on the TV or the internet as "bad and sad news" seems to so prominent these days. I guess you experience this more as you get older.
 
I was at his shop several years ago when we bought a 294 ci crank assy. A real gentlemen, very helpful. he will surely be missed. Mu thought and prayers go out to his family.

Oh Boy . . . that totally sucks to hear about Gary. Hell, just bought some of his lined valve guides a couple months ago. He had such enthusiasm for our beloved Flatheads and did his best to pass on the knowledge/experience he'd gained over the decades.

We didn't always agree on how best to do things, but that was perfectly fine - I respected his opinion and he respected mine (it is what civil folks do!). My heart goes out to his family - Godspeed Gary, you will be missed!
 
If any of Gary's family sees this, know he will be missed. Learned quite a bit from his posts. God bless.
 
I learned a tremendous amount from his posts, and I always appreciated his helpful advice and positive attitude. I hate to hear of his passing and I will miss reading his responses. Prayers to the family.

I'm a relative newbie to Flatheads and ALWAYS clicked on his posts. Loved reading his comments, looking at the pics he posted and learned from all of them. I too liked his PS's. I miss them already. He always responded promptly to my PM's. RIP Gary.
