Goofy '37 Ford Accessory

Vic's earlier post got me thinking about other accessories for early V-8's. I have this parking brake lever extension. The box says for 1937 Fords. I don't know how practical it is but I thought it was kind of neat and will give it a shot. Dennis/Arkansas

Yeah Vic, that's what I thought. It does fold in when not in use, but what's the point? You still have to reach forward. Time will tell. I don't have a finished car to try it on. Dennis/Arkansas

Yeah, I remember them on A's and T-Models. As I recall, Fulton manufactured one set up. I could see it being useful on a T. You have to lean in pretty far to grab hold of the lever (I have had several T-Models over the years). Dennis/Arkansas

I have just last week before Mr Ford looked at my car , installed a real nice one , its aluminum & perfectly patined to suit the car . I paid way too much for it , but so glad I did as it looks like its been on her forever.
Now after using it several times , I love it !!!! its on there to stay !!!plus I am an accesory nut anyways !
Cheers
Tony

Hey Tony, Thank you very much for your input, now I know it's a keeper! Yeah, I paid way too much as well. Like yourself I really like early Ford accessories. When I was doing T-Models I had a ton of accessories for the Ford Model-T. It's been said that there were as many as 5000 different add-on goodies for the T-Model. I doubt the early V-8's have so many, so I treasure each one I find! Dennis/Arkansas
