Goodyear dot color code

I have 5 new Goodyear 19" tires. Each has one dot, assume marking heavy spot, to be initially mounted at valve stem.

Is there a color code?
I have:
2 Green
1 Grey
1 Red
1 Blue

Dots have lots of meanings and they have little use in the end.

Look them up on google and you will see what I mean. You have the light spot dot. Then there is a dot for a high spot. One of the dots you put at the center punch ***** on the rim, not to many A wheels came with this mark.

My experence is you put the tire on and mount it on a hub that has lightly oiled bearings. Let the wheel find it's heavy point and then slide the tire on the rim to get the best balance. Some come in close and others are way off. I put the best on the front. I will get dynabeads to balance the wheels.

Keep in mind the axles are heavy and minor imbalances in the wheels will be damped out. You do not need the wheels as balanced as needed for a
modern car.

The following should make it all clear as mud.

When I bought my Goodyears from Kelsey Tire about 10 years ago I asked them this same question and, if I remember right, they told me the different color dots indicated on which shift that individual tire was made.

i thought they were where you put the valve stem . a balance point ......... steve

Clem, 7 years ago goodyear and firestone told me the dots were only inspection tags not used for any balance points on tire . They said most people have been told they were ref point for mounting . they said not true

I thought/hoped the colored dots were for balancing, but was told they were inspection dots. Each inspector had their own color assigned.

I was told by Kelsey they were for inventory. Whatever ,I guess they aren't like the old dots where you put the valve stem for balance.
