good condensors

Hello everyone, does anyone know where I can buy good condensers (like the ones Bubba used to sell?). Any help would be much appreciated.

Echlin were exceptional parts but it has changed some since Standard Motor Parts bought them out. If they keep the same quality then they are good to go but it's kind of a mystery now. NAPA still has exclusivity on Echlin as far as I know.

The hand made ones like the Vertex magneto type and the trash can types made for Mallory distributors are the best available but they don't fit all applications. Too many manufacturers don't do good quality control on these products.

In the Model A world we use a burn proof condenser that looks original (goes
Inside the dist. Body). I wonder if it is possible to adapt it to a 12v modern pt. System? I will have to look into it.

A&L makes a good capacitor. I run them in my model A but the OEM types are a bit different. The modern conversions use modern components in there.

I could not agree more.
I will add, I have VERY good fortune with the condensers I purchase from Hunt's Magnetos. I prefer the 32mfd condenser.
