Heard that phrase many times today in our town's patriot program.

speaking of the military,
there is a big military exercise in our area this week,9000 USA troops,some Kiwis and Aussies also,
if any members have a family member or such here for the exercise who would like a break, PM me and we can pic them up in the 33 for a home made meal or the likes.

Lawrie, that is such a nice offer!! I still have fond memories of the many Australian families who came to our Navy ship (USS Mansfield DD728) while docked at New Castle, Sidney and Hobart Tasmania, offering to take us on tours of their town/city and then to lunch or dinner. These were our RR stops after Vietnam, Gulf of Tonkin patrol duty and then heading home to Long Beach, Ca. I will never forget the great hospitality of those fine folks in Australia!!

John, we try to be nice,but are just normal folks.
we are out in the 33 today with Kpar in his 33 for the day,down the valley,just about like out the back of Lancaster, but no Amish.

I wish we where a bit more patriotic. Around here if you fly a flag from your car you are branded "more likely to be a racist" ..??
