GM type Saginaw PS pump

I'm going to put a shim kit in a "canned ham" type PS pump. Can anyone tell me what type and how much fluid is spec'd for this pump?

My stock 67 OT car shows 32oz. But it's going to depend on what you're running, a box, a rack, or a ram under the car. Hose lengths a little bit. If you're draining the pump to work on it, try to catch the fluid and eyeball it for replacement. Remember it's a "hot" dipstick" on most of them, so don't overfill it cold. You'll also need to cycle full lock to lock to purge it.
