Gm 1 wire alt for sbfs

Any one know of a gm 1 wire alternator for sbfs?
I know summit has the tuff stuff one wire but I'd like to have
something from a parts store I could just go replace
if needed.

Then go with the later model Ford alternators. They are a dime a dozen and work forever. Built in regulator...G2 or G3.

Certified Auto Electric has a set up for us Flathead guy's. They have a Flathead brackett that uses a Ford one wire Alt. Thinking they might help you with your application. Come on now, why a GM alt in any Ford Motor. Scott

If you have a lot of stuff (A/C, PWR Windows/seats, electric fan) the GM one wire is marginal plus the over seas rebuilds that are out there cheap have a history of the diode pack causing battery discharges....

The gm 10si is a little longer then the ford alt and you need to drill out the bottom bolt hole in the case. If you have extra room behind the ford alt you can run a 10si 3 wire (I don't like any 1 wires). All the stuff I have runs a gm alt.
