Glove box door hinge

I am looking for a picture of a correct Glove box door hinge for a 1939 convertible. I need the picture of just the hinge if someone has one not installed. Thank you all!

The hinge is the same for all 39 Ford passenger cars, open or closed models...

I think he needs to see a pic of the tab that swivels on the rod that bolts to the dash
You're correct. I found the only picture I have on file of the hinge not installed. I hope it is helpful. here ya go...
This one was out of a wagon... same dash as a convertible.

Mine looks like yours, but it doesn't lay flat inside the dash. Yours also looks like there is a third bracket/bar, or something going across the bottom? Mine does not have that.

Sorry about the photo not being as detailed as we need.
There is a third bracket as you figured. One bracket of course goes to the lid. One bracket goes to the upper - visible edge of the dash while the third goes underneath. That one (the third one) holds the liner in against the very lower lip of the dash.
Without seeing what you have, I am guessing it is a 1940 hinge. That won't work... period.
I'll look again to see if I can find a better photo.
