Getting ready for summer,Changing oil

I am out in the shed changing oil in the 33. I am trying to get them ready for some touring this summer.That my Mother in law light hanging in the shed.A bit chilly today so I played in the shed.

Well today I was in the shed cleaning the 33 and to my surprise on the roof where someone years ago welded the center of the roof in. Guess what it starting to crack all around there.I would love to put the roof back as Henry had it but I am lost on doing it.I bought some of the strip that goes around to hold the vinal down but don't have all it. Any of you got any idea where I can get it?I am just plain lost on this.I surley am going to need help on this one for sure.I guess I am a bit scared?

I have that kit bought and it very thick and doesn't look correct and never use it. I seen them on cars and it looks like a sore thumb.Thanks for trying to help me on this.
