Get Low

[glenn in camino]

I saw a good movie called Get Low tonight at our local theater. It's a strange story that takes place in Georgia in 1930 or 31. Robert Duvall is the star along with lots of Model As. If it plays at a theater near you, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

We saw that movie a few weeks ago at the Cliftex Theatre http://www.cliftextheatre.com/history.htm and thought it was pretty good. We drove the coupe and got to park right out front and that made it even better. The Cliftex has been in business since the middle teens and is really a neat old place.

I enjoyed the first half, but the writing and directing late in the movie ruined the experience. Cars did look great, and as always, Robert Duvall gets it done. Bill Murray sure hasn't aged well (who has?), but still very funny.

Sissy Spacek as a mature woman? That was different.
