George Poteet

[tom1948]

I saw on the news last night that George Poteet has passed. It seems our (old?) heros are dropping like flies. He was the same age as me, too bad. RIP george

RIP George ……

He was humble, unassuming, always cordial and friendly. Never let his good fortune and status overpower his humble beginnings in Mississippi. Rest in Peace, Mr. George!

I know that he owned a lot of very nice, very expensive cars. What business was he in that was so successful?

He was a very respected car builder having won both the Ridler and AMBR awards, this answer your question?

[tubman]

I don't think anyone has ever gotten that rich just building cars.

No, I am aware of that. I understand he is a self made millionaire, I was wondering what business he was in.
