Gentlemen what is this?

I received this in a pile of T parts. I figured out that it's a coil tester. But how is it used? Does anyone have any information on this. I can only post 1 picture at a time. Picture #2 is on the next post

The fact that is says 'for alternating current only' tell me it would test the output of the magneto. The Model T mag puts out alternating current. I probably tests the coils as if the magneto was powering the coil. Just an educated guess.

Jefferson Electric Co. coil, spark plug, light bulb & magneto tester - I have one like it. I use it to check light bulbs mostly - does head & tail.

It is an 110 V 60 cycle unit meant to be run off AC house hold current. It would have a step down transformer in it to check light bulbs, spark plugs and setup coils. And shock you good if the wiring inside is bad. :)
