hello 1. will a NAA type B generator work on a model A?
2. to check out in field or armature, does anyone know the ohms in field to ground and armature to grnd? 3. by the way , i cant motor it right now as i have no 6v battery to check it out thanks
 
The field coils will have resistance. The armature just need continuity in the right places withe no shorts or opens. Motoring doesn't always guarantee proper function. A model A can't be checked on the car for generator function since it has an ammeter.

The Ford tractor generators are a bit different than the model A cylindrical 3-brush generator. They may not be dimensionally correct in stock form.
