I have a '35 Ford with a '37 engine and a 6 volt system. 2 questions: 1) what are the differences, if any, between a '35 and '37 generator (2) I assume if there's a difference, then I should run with a 37 generator?
i believe they are all pretty much the same thing up to 39 when ford went to the 2 brush genny with a regulator. yours are both 3 brush with the cut out. there are some different length fans so check your radiator clearance and go for it. happy motoring, skip
