generator wires

I have a generator on my 1925 engine. Can anyone tell me which wire inside the generator goes to which brush posts. I have two thick wires from the armature coils and one from the post. Thanks

The output lead is connected to the large insulated brush holder. The uninsulated or grounded brush holder gets one wire from the field. The small brush holder gets the other wire from the field. Please note the two wires from the field must cross over one another.
