Generator pulley repair

JUST ASKIN'. I have a cast-iron generator pulley that has a broken off piece at the outside edge. it does not go all the way down into the valley, but only 1/2". The broken off section is about 1/2" "deep" and about 2" long, maybe. Someone dropped the generator in shipment My question is, would it be safe and useable if the broken off piece is reattached with PC-7, ? , which I have found to be an excellent product over the years. Inquiring minds want to know.

You don't want that piece flying off and wreck other stuff, possibly your face. They are relatively cheap, buy a another.

Lawson,
The potential cost of a faulty repair of any kind far outweigh the cost of even a NOS pulley. I’d seek advice of an old retired attorney if I were you!

De-burr and run it. I have an NOS 1940 geny I use on my run stand with same issue. No abnormal marks on new belt I use. Braze or replace otherwise.

I have a threaded, and keyway if your interested
