Generator and Starter Winding Specifications

Anyone out there who know the original specifications for Inductance (Including specified measurement frequency) for the windings of the model A generator and starter. Thinking of both armature and field windings.

I would like to measure the windings on an LCR meter and compare to specification in order to quickly determine if they are OK or if any windings are shorted.
 
I have never found any specs for that, and the meters on the growlers are not consistent from one to the next, I just check that they are equal, and have gotten to know what is an ok reading on each growler I use, the 110V "test light" is used for shorts to ground and if there is any smoke being let out, the "hacksaw blade test" shows shorted windings --that is the quickest test, but not perfect.

I have seen the fancy graphs that are shipped with the cheap chinese starters to prove that they "worked" --at least on the test bench --I am not familiar with the term "LCR meter", please describe it.
