gear problems

I finally got my Model A ready for a test drive and realized that the gears are reversed (three speeds in reverse and one forward). I have no idea what i did to make this happen and dont really know what to look for in fixing this. Any advice on trouble shooting this poblem would be helpful.

You installed the ring gear on the passenger side rather than on the driver's side. With the Ford banjo rear ends, left is right and right is wrong!

Falsh - Rich is right, the differential ring gear is on the wrong side. Sorry to say, but you will have to take the rear end apart to fix.

Look at it this way, you will be the resident expert in rear end assembly at the club metings. Good luck.
