Hello how much gear oil belongs in a flathead v8 3 speed transmission

I'm sure someone will correct me here. But I think you just fill it until oil begins to dribble out of the oil fill plug on the side of the transmission case.

That's what I do for mine as well.

He may need to order the oil.. I'm sure he will know about the filler . 37 - 40 box would be 1.3 litres , diff 1.1 litres ...
