Gauge problems

Hi Just rewired my 46 jailbar it was already convered to 12v and now when I turn ignition on temp gauge only goes down to normal if I take wire of sender and put it to earth gauge goes to cold the oil pressure gauge has always started at midway and goes right up when running the fuel gauge has had a new sender and reads full for ever then drops like a stone I'm guessing resistance problem between old gauges and new sensors thinking maybe resister online but no idea of value any one got any ideas thanks
 
Did you add a voltage reducer? Did you move the ground straps and sending unit wires to account for the polarity change?
 
The new sender for the fuel gauge(if it's new repo) is your problem. They don't play well with the original gauge.
 
Thanks for your reply it has a 12/6 volt electronic dropper giving constant 6 volt I have not changed the supply and sensor wiring over will try that today thanks
