Hi All,

Picked up this cool little item last summer and met the real nice fella that makes them.. Thought it was so useful that others may want to know about it..

I have no affiliation with him, aside from being a happy customer..

Looks like the doc did not paste in.

The Gas neck filler extensions, billet aluminum, basically eliminates spills when refueling. Allows Hands Free refueling, giving a full tank and nozzle will autoshutoff without overfilling on modern nozzles.

No relation, but only a happy customer :)

Andrew Jackman has just agreed to sell these through Bratton's and, I think, Snyder's. In any case, watch for them from your favorite supplier.

Andrew is a friend and fellow club member, but beyond that I don't have any financial interest in his product.

Thanks Dave, I think this little gadget will be a great help, I'm tired of wiping up spilled gasoline from atop my cowl.

We picked up a couple of them last summer and have been reviewing them. The review will be in the next Model A Times, nice piece of work.

Re: Gas Tank Filler Neck Extension/ 75c Home Depot

I have used a 75 cent PVC adaptor available at any big box/ hardware store for years (15+) with no problems. My reducer/ adaptor is 1.5" to 1.25", slip fit on 1 end, threaded on the other. Place it in the tank opening, and pump the gas. Pretty simple.
This is the white PVC you use for lawn irrigation systems and general plumbing. Cheap enough to keep a spare in your tool bag.

cheers,
Doug

Doug-
How about a picture of your adapter "in use" on a car, because I can't visualize what you are doing with it.

Thanks.
