I have a Model A fuel tank which is out of the car but has already been painted on the exterior.
The tank was cleaned and sealed back prior to 1990.
With today's fuel, I'm told that I have to remove the old sealer and clean the tank then use today's sealer that is imperious to the ethanol in today's fuels of whatever concentration, possibly including E085.
How do I go about removing the old sealer, clean the tank, and then what is the best sealer to use?
