This larger pedal attaches to the foot rest.
I think the spring is in a box.

I have a little gas pedal for an A made by Fulton.It is held to the floorboard with two screws.The car is a few miles from me in a snowed in shed,so I can't get a picture right now.It has a rubber pad on it.

That is a pretty slick design the way it uses the foot rest.

I’m partial to the hand throttle for taking a load off the pedal.

That Fulton pedal did not work for me. I built my own using an early Mustang pedal.
