Gas Monkey Garage Coup

Rawlings gets paid $50K per episode, I say good for him, as previously mentioned it's entertainment

It's entertainment, with drama. Deadlines, etc.

That is what gets so old with these shows. Was watching a bit of Desert Valley Auto Parts show they drug in a 50's Ford pickup and announced it needed a total re-make from the ground up and they only had two weeks to do it. Of course the timeline caused tempers to flare, etc. etc. Drama galore the body guy was going to quit (so quit who gives a rat's behind) I couldn't finish the show had had enough of it. Two weeks?? Get real. Did they make it? Don't know don't care the channel got flipped.

SURE! That looks like a good solid car you could part out and make buck on. It will be a Hot Rod some tine soon and a lot of stock bits and pieces will be on eBay. Bob

They could make a show about landscapers mowing yards and add drama, guys ready to quit and a time deadline and people would watch it. The same formula for too many shows. The guys are probably neat outside the show and know what they are doing in a "this old house" type of format.

i watch the show. but if they are not building it whats wrong with it. it looks like better shape than my car came in. but mechanically my car was pretty good. that radiator looks gone. and why no fuel line?

If you watch the show, they don't build or restore every car that comes through the garage. They flip lots of cars without even touching them.
