Gas gauge sticking

I add Seafoam in my tank. Don't know if it will unstick your fuel gauge. It did unstick the fuel gauge in my '06 F-150. 1oz/gal @ every fill up.
 
The gas gauge doesn't move very much and when it does it moves slowly. I would make a wire loop, hook it around the float rod and work it up and down a few dozen times. If there is a burr or a bit of rust it may work it out.

Probably best to do this when the tank is nearly empty.
