gas adj. needle stuck

When I started my 31 this morn. I turned the gas adj. needle aprox. 3/4 turn counter clockwise, as it was a little cold, pulled the choke and it started right, after a warm up I tried to go back clock wise with the adj. needle and it would not move, This is the 1st. time this has happen'd in the four years I have owned the car. The choke is free and work's norm.
I disc. the linkage and it seem's to be stuck in the carb, Any advice. Thank you

Sounds like there's a piece of crud under the needle or possibly something hanging up in the threads of the needle. Time to take it apart and clean it up.

So when the GAV linkage/sleeve is removed, the needle won't turn in its housing ?? You should be able to remove the needle and its housing without removing the carburetor and give it a look..

Fixed,
I removed the adj. needle and needle housing and found the needle was stuck big time in the housing, I kept twisting the needle Lt. and Rt. untill it got a little loose,
I then put oil in the housing and kept twisting the needle untill it was free,
I guess a small peice of crud got in it, although it looked clean.
It works like new now. Thank you both for your advice. ;)
